Helping To Understand T.I.E
2 Days working with Urban Voice LTD
Pool Hayes Senior School in Willenhall have pupils taking a Btech National Diploma in Performing arts. For one of their modules, the pupils have to create a T.I.E company. (A Theatre In Education Company) They must tour their specific piece to at least 2 schools but must do more than so many performances to different audiences. So Pool Hays asked Urban Voice to run a day workshop with the pupils helping them understand T.I.E and what their company needs. I went along to run the workshop with them and assist as an actor. We put together an extensive pack for each pupil and held a day long workshop with them. We will return twice before their dead line to see how their T.I.E companies and pieces are getting on and to offer an help and guidence if needed.
